Epic Games Store Free Games This Week: Agent A and Bad Cheese

The Epic Games Store has refreshed its weekly free-game promotion, giving PC gamers another opportunity to expand their game libraries without spending money. From October 15 to October 22, 2026, players can claim Agent A: A Puzzle in Disguise and Bad Cheese for free.

Both games offer very different experiences. Agent A is a spy-themed puzzle adventure filled with secret rooms and clever challenges, while Bad Cheese is a psychological horror game featuring a mouse trapped in an unsettling family environment.

Players with an Epic Games account can claim the games during the promotional period and keep them in their libraries after the giveaway ends.

1. Agent A: A Puzzle in Disguise

Agent A: A Puzzle in Disguise is a stylish adventure game that puts players in the role of a secret agent investigating an enemy spy named Ruby La Rouge.

The mission involves infiltrating Ruby's hideout, searching for clues, solving environmental puzzles, and uncovering secrets hidden throughout the location. Players must pay attention to objects, patterns, and unusual details to progress through the adventure.

Key features of Agent A

• Spy-themed storyline and secret-agent missions
• Puzzle-solving based on observation and logic
• Hidden objects and interactive environments
• A distinctive comic-book-inspired visual style
• An adventure suited to players who enjoy mystery games

Agent A is a good choice for gamers who prefer thoughtful challenges over fast-paced combat. Its focus on exploration and puzzle-solving makes it suitable for players looking for a more relaxed gaming experience.

2. Bad Cheese

Bad Cheese takes a much darker approach. This psychological horror game uses an unusual visual style inspired by vintage animation, placing players in the role of a young mouse dealing with a disturbing home environment.

The game combines unsettling scenes, exploration, and moments of tension to create a horror experience that stands apart from traditional survival games. Its cartoon-like appearance contrasts with its uncomfortable atmosphere, making the presentation part of its appeal.

Key features of Bad Cheese

• Psychological horror with a retro cartoon aesthetic
• An unusual story centered on a dysfunctional family
• Atmospheric environments and unsettling encounters
• Exploration and narrative-driven gameplay
• A distinctive visual identity for horror fans

Players who enjoy experimental horror games may find Bad Cheese particularly interesting because it uses an old-fashioned animated look to deliver a much darker experience.

Epic Games generally refreshes its free-game promotions every Thursday. The titles available in the next promotion may differ, so it is worth checking the official store regularly.

Are Epic Games Store Free Games Worth Claiming?

For PC gamers who enjoy trying different genres, Epic's weekly giveaways provide a simple way to discover games without paying their normal purchase price.

Agent A offers a puzzle-focused adventure, while Bad Cheese caters to players interested in unusual psychological horror. Their contrasting styles mean that the current selection has something different for two types of gaming audiences.

Even if neither game is on your immediate playlist, claiming both now gives you the option to try them later.
