Samsung is hitting the gas on its One UI 9 rollout, and if you are holding a Galaxy S25 or Z Fold 7, your wait is almost over.

Following a successful testing phase, the South Korean tech giant has officially released the stable One UI 9 update for the Galaxy S26, S26+, and S26 Ultra in its home market. International users won't be left in the dark for long, as Samsung confirmed the global rollout will kick off on September 21. At the current pace, every Galaxy S26 model worldwide is expected to run the new software before the end of next week.

Once the flagship S26 lineup is fully updated, Samsung will immediately shift its focus to last year's premium devices. Mark your calendars for September 28: that is when the stable One UI 9 update will land on the Galaxy S25 series, as well as the foldable Galaxy Z Fold 7 and Z Flip 7. These devices have already been put through their paces in the One UI 9 Beta program, paving the way for a smooth transition. Older devices still in the beta testing pool will have to wait about a week longer, with their official update slated for early October.

There is an interesting pattern emerging—both September 21 and September 28 fall on a Monday. This suggests Samsung is maintaining a consistent, start-of-the-week release schedule for its major software drops. If this trend holds, the next wave of older beta devices could see their stable release on Monday, October 5.
