RedMagic 12 Pro+ Gets Official Launch Date for October
nubia is getting ready to introduce its next-generation gaming smartphone, the RedMagic 12 Pro+. The company has officially confirmed that the new gaming flagship will launch in October 2026, following the successful RedMagic 11 Pro+.
The announcement was made through RedMagic's official Weibo account, giving gaming phone fans their first confirmed launch window for the upcoming device. While nubia has not yet revealed the exact launch day, more details are expected to be announced ahead of the event.
New and Refined Design
The RedMagic 12 Pro+ is expected to introduce several design changes compared with its predecessor. nubia has teased a slimmer and lighter body with more rounded corners, moving away from the boxier appearance of the previous-generation model.
The company has also shown redesigned shoulder-trigger buttons. These controls remain an important part of the RedMagic gaming experience, giving users physical inputs for supported games.
Slim Display Bezels
Another highlighted feature is the phone's display design. The RedMagic 12 Pro+ is expected to feature extremely slim, uniform bezels measuring around 0.96mm.
This approach should help the device deliver a more immersive full-screen gaming experience while maintaining the distinctive gaming-focused design of the RedMagic series.
Flagship Performance Expected
Although nubia has not disclosed the complete specifications yet, the RedMagic 12 Pro+ is expected to use Qualcomm's upcoming flagship mobile platform, which should place it among the most powerful Android gaming phones of its generation.
The new model is also expected to continue RedMagic's focus on thermal management. Reports indicate that the phone could combine liquid cooling with an active cooling fan to help maintain performance during demanding gaming sessions.
RedMagic 12 Pro+ Launch Date
nubia has confirmed that the RedMagic 12 Pro+ will launch in October 2026. However, the company has not yet announced the exact launch date.
More information about the processor, display, cameras, battery, charging technology, cooling system and pricing should become available as the official launch approaches.
What to Expect
The RedMagic 12 Pro+ appears set to build on the gaming-focused features of its predecessor while introducing a more refined physical design. The slimmer body, rounded corners, redesigned shoulder triggers and near-borderless display are among the changes already teased by nubia.
With the official launch scheduled for October, RedMagic is expected to reveal additional specifications and features in the coming weeks.
