Honor Magic9 Series European Launch Date Revealed

HONOR has confirmed when its new Magic9 series will reach European markets, and fans will have to wait a little longer than expected. The Magic9 lineup recently made its debut in China, but the European launch is not scheduled until January.

The information comes from HONOR's official websites for the UK and France, where the company has listed January as the arrival period for the Magic9 series. While HONOR has not yet provided a specific launch day, the same timeframe is expected to apply to other European markets.

Magic9 Series Arrives in Europe in January

HONOR launched the Magic9 family in China on September 28. The lineup includes the Magic9, Magic9 Super Edition, and Magic9 Pro Max, with the Pro Max positioned as the flagship model.

For European customers, however, the wait will be considerably longer. HONOR currently lists January as the launch period for the Magic9 series in the UK and France.

The company has not yet announced European pricing or confirmed the exact configurations that will be sold in the region.

Magic9 Pro Max Leads the Lineup

The Magic9 Pro Max is the most advanced model in the series and places a strong emphasis on photography and mobile video recording.

One of its biggest highlights is HONOR's collaboration with ARRI, the professional cinema technology company. The phone incorporates ARRI's imaging technology to provide a more cinema-focused video experience.

The Magic9 Pro Max features a dual 200MP camera setup, including a 200MP primary camera and a 200MP telephoto camera. It also includes a 50MP ultrawide camera and a 55MP front-facing camera.

HONOR has designed the device as more than a conventional smartphone camera, offering features aimed at users interested in professional-looking video creation.

Powerful Hardware and Large Battery

The Magic9 Pro Max is powered by Qualcomm's latest high-end Snapdragon 8 Elite Extreme Gen 6 chipset. It also features a large 8,800mAh battery, with support for 100W wired charging and 80W wireless charging.

The phone comes with a 6.8-inch LTPO OLED display and can be configured with up to 16GB of RAM and 1TB of storage.

HONOR's MagicOS 11 software is based on Android 17 and introduces a range of AI-powered features alongside improvements to the company's ecosystem and cross-device connectivity.

European Pricing Still Unknown

Although HONOR has confirmed the January timeframe for the UK and France, the company has yet to reveal how much the Magic9 models will cost in Europe.
