Jazz has announced a strategic partnership with DIGIT and UNISOC to introduce affordable 5G devices in Pakistan. The collaboration aims to make next-generation connectivity more accessible to consumers as the country moves toward wider 5G adoption.
The partnership combines Jazz’s connectivity network and market reach with DIGIT’s expertise in devices and local consumer needs. UNISOC will provide the semiconductor and 5G technology needed to power the new products.
The companies will initially launch two devices: a 5G MiFi and a 5G smartphone powered by UNISOC platforms. Both products are designed to provide consumers with faster and more reliable mobile connectivity for communication, entertainment, education, work, and other digital services.

Asad Maqbool, Head of Jazz Consumer Growth, said affordable and capable devices will play an important role in helping more people benefit from 5G. He said the collaboration will combine the strengths of Jazz, DIGIT, and UNISOC to expand access to faster connectivity.

Abdul Rehman Mahmood, CEO of DIGIT, said the company aims to offer reliable and affordable devices that meet the needs of local consumers. He added that the partnership will help DIGIT expand its product portfolio and support the adoption of 5G technology in Pakistan.
UNISOC General Manager of IoT Product Line Xian Miao said Pakistan remains an important and rapidly developing digital market. The company will use its V510 and UMS9621 platforms to support 5G connectivity across mobile broadband and smartphones.
The upcoming 5G MiFi will provide portable high-speed internet access to multiple connected devices. Meanwhile, the 5G smartphone will offer consumers a more accessible way to experience next-generation mobile connectivity.
The partnership comes as Pakistan enters a new phase of telecom development following the expansion of 5G services. While network availability remains important, affordable and compatible devices will also be necessary to increase consumer adoption.
Jazz, DIGIT, and UNISOC also plan to explore additional opportunities in 5G smartphones, mobile broadband products, and other connected devices for the Pakistani market.
The companies have not yet announced the prices, commercial launch dates, or sales channels for the new 5G devices. These details will be shared separately.
