OPPO F35 Pro Hands-On: A Feature-Packed Phone Built for Battery Life and Selfies
OPPO has officially introduced the new F35 series in India as the company celebrates a decade of its F-series smartphones. The lineup includes the standard OPPO F35 and the higher-end OPPO F35 Pro, with the Pro model bringing a larger display, improved performance, a high-resolution selfie camera, and a massive battery.
We recently got an opportunity to spend some time with the OPPO F35 Pro, giving us an early look at its design, display, cameras, performance, and battery capabilities.

OPPO F35 Pro Design
The OPPO F35 Pro has a modern flat-frame design and comes in three color options: Sunrise Orange, Wave Blue, and Twilight Brown. Two of the variants feature patterned rear panels, while the Twilight Brown model has a more understated matte appearance.
The phone measures around 162.6mm in height and 77.6mm in width, making it a relatively large device. Its weight is around 210 grams, which is understandable considering the enormous battery inside.
The camera module sits prominently on the rear and gives the phone a distinctive appearance. The matte back also provides a comfortable grip, although the camera area can attract fingerprints depending on the finish.
Large 6.78-Inch AMOLED Display
One of the biggest upgrades on the F35 Pro is its display.
The smartphone features a 6.78-inch AMOLED panel with a sharp 1.5K resolution and support for a high refresh rate. The screen can reach up to 1,800 nits of full-screen brightness, while its high refresh rate makes scrolling and animations feel smooth.
The display also features slim bezels, a centered punch-hole cutout, and an in-display fingerprint scanner.
During initial use, the screen delivers vibrant colors and responsive touch performance. OPPO has also designed the phone to maintain touch responsiveness in wet conditions, which could be useful in everyday situations.
MediaTek Dimensity 7360 Max Performance
The OPPO F35 Pro is powered by the MediaTek Dimensity 7360 Max chipset, paired with up to 8GB of RAM and 256GB of storage.
The chipset is designed for mid-range 5G smartphones and should provide enough performance for everyday applications, social media, photography, multitasking, and gaming.
OPPO has also equipped the phone with a large SuperCool VC cooling system to help manage temperatures during demanding workloads.
The device ships with ColorOS 17 based on Android 17, giving users access to OPPO's latest software features and interface improvements.
50MP Dual Rear Camera Setup
On the back, the F35 Pro features a dual-camera system.
The main camera uses a 50MP sensor with optical image stabilization (OIS), while an 8MP ultrawide camera provides a wider perspective for landscapes, group shots, and other situations where the standard camera cannot capture enough of the scene.
The addition of an ultrawide camera is particularly notable because this type of lens was missing from the previous generation.
50MP Ultra-Wide Selfie Camera
Selfie photography remains one of the main attractions of OPPO's F-series, and the F35 Pro continues that tradition.
The phone features a 50MP front-facing camera with a 100-degree field of view. The wide lens is designed to make group selfies easier without requiring users to stretch their arms or use a selfie stick.
Another major upgrade is 4K video recording from the front camera, giving vloggers and content creators a higher-resolution option for selfie videos.
Massive 8,000mAh Battery
Battery life is another major highlight of the OPPO F35 Pro.
The smartphone packs an 8,000mAh battery, which is considerably larger than what is found in many phones in this segment. The battery is paired with 80W SuperVOOC wired charging, allowing the large cell to be recharged relatively quickly.
OPPO says the battery is designed to maintain more than 80 percent of its original capacity after up to 1,800 charging cycles, potentially providing several years of reliable battery performance.
The phone also supports enhanced network technologies, including AI LinkBoost 4.0, which is designed to improve connectivity in areas with weaker signals.
Durability and Connectivity
Durability is another area where OPPO has focused on the F35 Pro. The device carries an IP69K rating, providing strong resistance against dust and high-pressure, high-temperature water jets.
The smartphone also supports 5G connectivity and includes features designed to improve network stability.
OPPO F35 Pro Price and Availability
The OPPO F35 Pro has launched in India with a starting price of Rs. 45,999 for the base configuration. The smartphone is scheduled to go on sale from October 11, 2026, through OPPO's online store and major retail and e-commerce channels.
Final Thoughts
The OPPO F35 Pro is shaping up to be an interesting option in the upper mid-range smartphone segment. Its biggest strengths include the 8,000mAh battery, 80W charging, AMOLED display, 50MP front camera, OIS-equipped main camera, 5G connectivity, and IP69K durability.
For users who prioritize long battery life, selfies, durability, and a large high-quality display, the F35 Pro could be an appealing choice. A full review will provide a better picture of its real-world camera quality, performance, battery endurance, and overall value.
