Tecno Pop 20C: 120Hz Display, Helio G81 and 5,200mAh Battery

The Tecno Pop 20C is an upcoming budget smartphone designed for users who want a large display, smooth refresh rate and long battery life without moving into the higher-priced smartphone segment.

According to the currently listed specifications, the Pop 20C carries a 6.78-inch 120Hz display, MediaTek Helio G81 chipset, 4GB RAM and a 5,200mAh battery. It is also listed with 64GB and 128GB storage options.

Tecno Pop 20C Display

The phone features a 6.78-inch IPS TFT display with a resolution of 720 x 1560 pixels.

The panel has a 120Hz refresh rate, which should make scrolling, animations and supported games feel smoother than conventional 60Hz budget displays.

The screen has a 19.5:9 aspect ratio and approximately 85% screen-to-body ratio, according to the available specifications.

MediaTek Helio G81 Processor

Powering the Tecno Pop 20C is the MediaTek Helio G81 chipset.

The octa-core processor is listed with a maximum clock speed of 2.00GHz and an ARM Mali-G52 MC2 GPU clocked at up to 820MHz.

The phone is listed with 4GB of RAM and either 64GB or 128GB of internal storage.

This hardware configuration is aimed primarily at everyday smartphone tasks such as messaging, social media, video streaming and light gaming.

13MP Rear Camera

For photography, the Tecno Pop 20C has a 13MP primary rear camera with autofocus and an LED flash.

The camera supports video recording in H.264, H.265 and MPEG4 formats.

On the front, there is an 8MP camera designed for selfies and video calls.

While this is not a camera-focused smartphone, the configuration should be suitable for basic photography and social media content.

5,200mAh Battery

Battery life is another major feature of the Pop 20C.

The phone is listed with a 5,200mAh Li-Po battery, while its rated capacity is 5,100mAh. Quick charging is supported, although the source does not provide a confirmed charging wattage.

There is no wireless charging support.

The large battery combined with the relatively modest display resolution and Helio G81 platform could make the Pop 20C a practical choice for users who prioritize endurance.

Android and Connectivity

The Tecno Pop 20C runs Android and supports 4G LTE connectivity.

Other connectivity options include:

• Dual Nano-SIM support
• Bluetooth 5.0

• GPS
• A-GPS
• GLONASS
• BeiDou
• Galileo
• USB Type-C
• USB 2.0 with OTG
• Infrared connectivity

The device also supports GSM, 3G and LTE networks.

IP64 Protection

Tecno has listed the Pop 20C with an IP64 rating for dust and water resistance.

The phone measures approximately 167.72 x 79.12 x 7.70mm. Its official weight and color options have not been listed in the available specification database.

Tecno Pop 20C Price and Availability

The Tecno Pop 20C is listed as a Q4 2026 device, but an official retail price and detailed market availability are not included in the current specification listing.

For that reason, buyers should wait for Tecno's official pricing and regional availability before treating any rumored price as final.

Final Verdict

The Tecno Pop 20C appears to be aimed at the affordable smartphone market, with its biggest strengths being the 120Hz 6.78-inch display, 5,200mAh battery, Helio G81 processor and IP64 protection.

The 13MP rear camera and 4GB RAM indicate that this is primarily an everyday-use device rather than a performance or photography flagship. If Tecno keeps the price competitive, the Pop 20C could be an interesting option for users looking for a large, smooth display and good battery endurance on a budget.
