Red Magic has officially revealed the full design of its upcoming Red Magic 12 Pro+ ahead of its October 15 launch in China. The new gaming flagship will focus on a clean design, immersive display and improved cooling for sustained gaming performance.

Red Magic 12 Pro+ Full Design Revealed Ahead of October 15 Launch

The company has shown the phone in three transparent-inspired finishes and highlighted several design changes compared with the previous generation.

Three Transparent Color Options

The Red Magic 12 Pro+ will be available in Transparent Dark Night, Transparent Silver Wing and Transparent Ice Blue. All three versions feature the brand’s familiar flat rear panel.

One of the biggest design changes is the camera setup. The rear camera module sits completely flush with the body instead of protruding from the back. This gives the phone a more uniform profile and a cleaner overall appearance.

Nearly Bezel-Free Display

Red Magic is also continuing its full-screen approach with the new phone. The device uses an under-display front camera, which removes the need for a punch-hole or display notch.

The Red Magic 12 Pro+ will use the company’s ninth-generation under-display camera technology. The bezels have also become thinner, with the black border around the display reduced from 1.25mm on the previous model to 0.96mm.

The slimmer border should provide a more immersive viewing experience, particularly when playing games or watching videos.

RGB Liquid Cooling System

Cooling remains a major focus of the Red Magic 12 Pro+. The phone will feature an RGB liquid cooling system, with the transparent rear panel allowing parts of the internal cooling hardware to be visible.

The device will also use an air-cooling system to help control temperatures during demanding gaming sessions. Red Magic is combining both systems to maintain stable performance during extended workloads.

Snapdragon 8 Elite Extreme Gen 6

The Red Magic 12 Pro+ will be powered by Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 8 Elite Extreme Gen 6 mobile platform.

The smartphone recently appeared on Geekbench 7 under the model number Nubia NX819J. It reportedly scored 3,677 points in the single-core test and 12,679 points in the multi-core test.

These benchmark results place the device among the strongest smartphones tested with the same chipset so far.

Large Battery and Fast Charging

Red Magic has previously confirmed that the 12 Pro+ will have a slimmer, lighter, and narrower body than its predecessor, with more rounded edges.

Leaks have also pointed to an 8,400mAh battery, along with support for 120W wired charging and 80W wireless charging. However, Red Magic has not officially confirmed these battery and charging specifications yet.

Launch Date and Reservations

The Red Magic 12 Pro+ will officially launch in China on October 15 at 2:30 PM local time. The company has already started accepting reservations through its official website and JD.com.

The retail price has not been announced yet. Chinese buyers can pay 100 yuan to reserve the phone and receive promotional benefits worth up to 4,300 yuan. These offers reportedly include a Red Magic Cooler 8 Pro, gaming-related benefits, cashback, and trade-in incentives.

Red Magic has not yet announced the global launch date or international availability of the Red Magic 12 Pro+.

With its nearly bezel-free display, flush cameras, transparent design, and advanced cooling system, the Red Magic 12 Pro+ is shaping up to be a major gaming smartphone for 2026.
