Xiaomi could bring major battery and display upgrades to its upcoming Redmi Turbo 6 Max. According to a new leak, the smartphone may feature a battery exceeding 10,000mAh and a large display measuring around 7 inches.
The information comes from tipster Digital Chat Station, who shared details about an upcoming mid-range smartphone powered by MediaTek’s Dimensity 9500s chipset. Although the tipster did not mention the device’s name directly, the specifications suggest that it could be the Redmi Turbo 6 Max.

The device is expected to succeed the Redmi Turbo 5 Max, which Xiaomi launched earlier this year with a 9,000mAh battery and a 6.83-inch display.
Redmi Turbo 6 Max May Feature a 10,000mAh Battery and 7-Inch Display
The most notable upgrade could be the battery capacity. The Redmi Turbo 6 Max may pack a battery larger than 10,000mAh, offering more capacity than its predecessor.
If Xiaomi delivers this upgrade, the phone could appeal to users who prioritise long battery life and want to spend less time charging their devices. However, the actual battery capacity, charging speed, and battery life remain unconfirmed.
The Redmi Turbo 5 Max already features a 9,000mAh battery, so an increase beyond 10,000mAh would represent a significant step forward for the series.
A Large 7-Inch Display With 2K Resolution
The leaked information also points to a display measuring approximately 7 inches. An earlier rumour from July suggested that the Redmi Turbo 6 Max could feature a 7-inch screen with 2K resolution.
If these details prove accurate, the smartphone could offer a larger viewing area for watching videos, playing games, and browsing content. The higher resolution could also deliver sharper visuals, although Xiaomi has yet to confirm the display specifications.
The Redmi Turbo 5 Max comes with a 6.83-inch screen, meaning the new model could feature a noticeable increase in display size.
Minimalist Design Expected
The Redmi Turbo 6 Max could also retain a clean and simple design. A render leaked in July showed a smartphone with a horizontal, pill-shaped camera bar on the rear panel.
The latest leak also points towards a minimalist appearance, although the final design and available colour options remain unknown.
MediaTek Dimensity 9500s Chipset
The leaked smartphone is expected to use the MediaTek Dimensity 9500s chipset. This processor also powers the Redmi Turbo 5 Max, which suggests that Xiaomi could retain some of the existing hardware while focusing on improvements to the battery and display.
However, the latest information does not confirm whether the Redmi Turbo 6 Max will use the same chipset configuration as its predecessor or receive any other hardware changes.
Redmi Turbo 6 Max Launch Details Remain Unknown
Xiaomi has not officially announced the Redmi Turbo 6 Max or confirmed its specifications. The reported battery capacity, display size, resolution, and chipset should therefore be treated as unconfirmed information.
If the leaks are accurate, the Redmi Turbo 6 Max could stand out in the mid-range smartphone segment with its exceptionally large battery and near 7-inch display. More details about its launch date, pricing, charging capabilities, and other specifications will emerge in the coming weeks.
